Like everyone who has kept considering about this website, how to learn English efficiently plays an important role in our daily life. That is because of globalization, the world needs a kind of common language to communicate between different nations or cultures. Most of people believe that a great language enviroment can push us learning easily. The reason of this is that staying in the country which uses English as a mother language such as USA, UK, AUS or an office language involving Pakistan, can make you open your mouth naturally. However, due to my narrow sight and my own experience of living in AUS in which English is used as the first language, some useful comments were achieved in this year. In this article, it will only mention two kinds of ways how to improve English.

This is a good opportunity improving my English when I set foot on this beautiful country. There are many good ways provided by teachers. Firstly, they hand out printing reading materials to us, it was very normal way used in our education system. The point which is different from us is that students need to use their own knowledge to get the result from that topic. Every week, students need to read a novel. They often start with a thin one, analyzing it to taste the deep understanding that book sharing them with their group members. It is a good way for people to enlarge their knowledge and ability about organization as well as improve their language skills. From this item, it can easily get students not to see them as a recorder, remember or record teachers’ knowledge, but they also need to know how to get information. There is a significant difference between learning knowledge and achieving information. the latter is the key core to improve one person’s English.

The second way of studying English is to keep talking. It is very hard for Chinese people because of traditional learning style. In my own memory, since the primary school we start to know teachers are the source of the knowledge, so we need to follow their steps and cannot change any more. In the education systerm, students only can be seen as an audience, but never actually join the learning queue. It is hard for children to build a good creativity from schools. Before this article, I make a little survey from one English study group. One of the members said that supplying an model to students is a good way for them to get information from teachers and he also thinks the creativity ability was lost by students themselves but not because of teachers’ teaching style. Here, an example suggests work-shop and learning group are so popular in Australia’s class. Students often are separated into many small discussion group, analyzing and presenting in front of the other students. Not only is it good for their deeply understanding the articles or topics, it also can enhance their creativity in the areas. Most of Chinese guys always feel shy or nervous at the first time, usually forget topic, do not use eye contact or lack body language to make the presentation naturally. In my argument, to do more practice before you need to share a lecture is good for our making comments clearly. In addition, making your voice loudly can reduce pressure from the silent atmosphere; it likely can help you get more confidence at that moment.

Based on the information, it can be easily seen that a good study way can help students know how to fish but not present available fish to them. Hence, a positive learner can gain more benefit from daily work and study. Hope everyone can enjoy their studying English and find an efficient way. Good luck.
